Born as intermediaries and brokers in the trade of Italian organic food products abroad. For over 15 years, the company has differentiated by embracing the sectors of production, processing (semi-finished dried fruit) and distribution in the sign of organic B2B in Europe.
Biosic stands for certified export of quality Italian products. A reality that has formed over the years and that sees us at the head of a network of over 200 suppliers to which belong over 7000 producers in the fresh fruit and vegetables and organic dried fruit sectors.
We mainly target the European distribution sector and all those companies that are constantly looking for quality products and raw materials.

Biosic management has always been strongly oriented towards responsible and sustainable growth.
Attentive to market developments, increasingly dynamic and not without pitfalls, has however in recent years made important investments, aimed at improving the quality of services aimed at customers, the network of suppliers and the working environment.
The company has acquired a new plant of more than 1600 square meters, investing with particular attention in the energy redevelopment of the building (bringing the building from class G to class A+), equipping it with photovoltaic system, new operational offices, storage center and cold rooms of the latest generation.
The company also wanted, with commitment and determination, to obtain IFS Broker & Logistics quality certifications to offer and guarantee services with higher standards.

The roots of a passion
The founder of the group, Antonio Soverino, was born into a family of Calabrian farmers. Contact with the land and with agricultural work is premature and is gradually transformed into a project of life.
Starting from the daily work within the family farm of 5 hectares ( in which are still produced citrus and organic olive oil)through the establishment of a small production cooperative and the decision to continue his agricultural studies at the University of Tuscia in Viterbo, the leitmotif of his path remains the passion for the land and its fruits.
After completing his studies in France with a dissertation aimed at comparing organic farming in France and Italy at the ISARA in Lyon, under the direction of Prof. Yvan Gautronneau, the project for a long-lasting Organic Agriculture was born, based on the cooperation between its multiple actors and the organic food supply chains. This is how Biosic by Antonio Soverino was born, an agronomist with a passion for organic farming and entrepreneurship.
Supply chain
Certified by ECOGRUPPO, BIOSIC is one of the first Italian companies to consistently promote Italian producers of Organic Farming abroad and, since 2005, already has contacts in more than 5 European countries. It is the sign of a process of maturity of the Italian Bio supply chain.
Biobox
After about ten years, from the birth of Biosic, Biobox was born, conceived for the development of local and regional organic agriculture in its adopted land, Tuscia (in Lazio). BIOBOX will be first a distribution company in Italy for the B2C and soon after, in Europe, in the B2B market specialized in raw materials and semi processed for confectionery industry and laboratories such as confectionery and chocolate

Biosic becomes shareholder of the most important
Association of producers of hazelnuts of the Lazio Region.
Biosic, with its historical producers, founded an Association of organic producers, now united in the brand NTBio
The pole of transformation
Biosic, together with other partners in the dried fruit sector, founds an artisanal company for the processing and packaging of nuts. Strength of the territory to produce quality products and customized to the needs of the end customer.

A new operational centre
Biosic acquires a new 1600 sqm warehouse, completely renovated with sustainable logic. An environmentally friendly building with the aim of being zero-impact with the help of a dedicated photovoltaic system.
